Welcome to On the Rocks in Stilbaai where we serve only quality food freshly prepared on your order. We cater for singles, couples, families, as well as group celebrations and functions.
To us kids are precious people, so we provide a dedicated play area for them as well as their own Kiddies Menu.
On the Rocks is fully licensed to serve wine as well as beer and other strong liquor at our Ladies’ Bar or at your table. Of course you can bring your own wine, which will be subject to a corkage fee.
Walk-ins are always welcome and we will try our best to accommodate them. To avoid disappointment, though, rather reserve a table in advance.
The dress code is informal and credit card facilities are available too.

From the Wine Cellar
Wine and strong liquor
On the Rocks is fully licensed to serve wine, beer, liqueurs as well as all other kinds of strong liquor. Thus we invite you to peruse our carefully selected list of the finest wines. Red wines, white wines as well as sparkling wines sourced from recognised South African wine cellars.
By and large your favourites are all there – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Pinotage, Sauvignon Blanc and more. Some of the wines carry playful names like ‘Kaalvoet Meisie’, ‘Kat met die Houtbeen, as well as ‘Life from Stone’.
Of course you may bring your own wine. Be advised, though, there will be a corkage fee. By law you are not allowed to take half-finished bottles home, therefore On the Rocks will label your bottle and store it for you until you dine with them again.
Apart from wine, the restaurant has a congenial Ladies’ Bar stocking a variety of strong liquor as well as beer, liqueur and gin. The Bartender is also skilled in mixing very tasty, have-to-be-tried cocktails.
