We aspire to provide our customers with a superior dining experience every time, and thus become
the Restaurant of First Choice in Still Bay.
We, as owners are well aware of the huge challenge we set ourselves with such a bold mission statement, but we are resolute and determined to succeed in our quest. One way we are working towards achieving our goal, is by constantly striving for perfection as well as team work.
Similarly we provide a consistent and superior quality as well as innovative selection of food. Our chef presents the food in an appealing and appetising way, thus offering you good value for money. We have also created a welcoming atmosphere through an attractive and comfortable setting where people feel relaxed and appreciated.
Moreover, we realise that the dedication of the full complement of our staff are extremely important to the success of our restaurant.
The Chef and his team, the Bartender, every waiter or waitress as well as the cleaners are equally important.
Therefore we continuously work on creating a professional working environment for all staff that is built on our values. These include trust, honesty, commitment and ownership, also co-operation, recognition, open communication as well as individual and team contribution.
In addition we are constantly building co-operative and mutually beneficial relationships with our suppliers.
Since we understand the importance of recycling for the protection of our vulnerable planet, On the Rocks is an eco friendly restaurant dedicated to recycling.

All staff members, especially those providing direct service to you, our diners, are dedicated to your satisfaction and pleasure. Therefore their service is professional, friendly, prompt, attentive, as well as interactive and caring. They work tirelessly to make your dining experience absolutely exemplar.

The back end team, owners as well as the manager, are all working very hard to keep On the Rocks’ gears oiled and the wheels turning smoothly. They are backed by an indispensable team of diligent, energetic as well as enthusiastic people tirelessly working to keep the customers delighted. So delighted, in fact that they keep on returning all the time.
Giorgio & Jeanine Linossi (Owners)
Giorgio was born in the north of Italy, bringing with him his mothers traditional home cooked recipes.
He and Jeanine moved to Still Bay from Cape Town in 2019 and took over at On The Rocks in November 2020. A very brave move considering this was in the height of the pandemic.
